Dear friends,

I´m looking for specimens of Apatura iris from localities covering all its distribution range. I can offer Spanish lepidoptera species in exchange. The examples must match some special requirements:

- wild specimens collected after 2005
- not sacrified with ethyl acetate, alcohol or formaldehyde
- perfect A1 quality (damaged material will be welcomed as donations)
- full data, including geographic coordinates
- up to three pairs from each location

I´m mainly looking for specimens from geographic and fitoclimatic barriers: Aquitaine Basin, central Massif Central, high Normandy, Paris Basin (Loira river), Rhone river basin, south Alps [FRANCE]; central Alps [SWITZERLAND]; NE Dolomites, low Po river, Appenines? [ITALY]; etcetera.

I would also accept some specimens of A.ilia, A. metis, A.laverna and close genus such as Mymathima, Chitoria, Helcyra, Lelecella, Dilipa,...

Please do not hesitate to contact me whether you have any doubts or you can provide help.

You can reach me at:

Best regards,
