• SYNONYMS: sinina Grum-Grshimailo, 1891.
• RANGE. Mongolia, N., central and E. China to the Ussuri region.
• DISTRIBUTION AND VARIATION. S. Transbaikalia, the S. Amur and S. Ussuri regions.
• HABITATS AND BIOLOGY. Meadows and steppe habitats in river valleys. Flight period: end of May to July.
• SIMILAR SPECIES. E. tages: FW broader and less strongly pointed, UPS darker and duller, HW discal and postdiscal spots faint and diffuse.
